Captured most of the nice places in North India. And thanks for the tips. I somehow never manage to video anything while I am on a trip. The trip is so exciting that I forget to fish out my camera and record something. In the end it is all a memory, which is how I like it. Maybe I should try something like this. Cheers and happy traveling.

Re: Top Rope Tough Guys

@SKinSK, thanks for letting me know about the private video thing. He certainly has the weight to lobby for something like this, and it's great to see the winds of change that have been blowing from the new new economy (toms shoes, dreamhost, basically any company with a social agenda) finally reaching the old market. Then again, there really is little choice. GM's recent decline shows that the old business models don't work any more. Agassi will have 100000 cars out by 2012 and grow from there, while everybody else is caught in a downward spiral.

I also agree that it's smarter to speak the language of the people you're trying to convince. Dressing in rags and chaining yourself to railroad tracks is not sending the right kind of signal.

Re: What is a netbook good for?

Thanks for the comment Sanna.

First of all, I love your pictures of the mountains/climbing; great! The design of your site is quite clear. The implementation of Simpleviewer looks nice and works perfect. The combination of the bold type and the dark colors are heavy, but okay that could be a matter of taste. Keep on going!

I'm going to suggest that he write some kind of documentary or story or something to be sure all the tales get told. He really did have some crazy stuff happen on that route. I haven't even heard all of it yet, I don't think. For example, at one point he was hauling off two old rusted quarter inchers (b/c they were the ONLY option) and one of the bolts blew out - shock loaded the other bolt (which pman said was the worse looking of the two). So he had to haul the rest on just one old nasty bolt. And I don't think there was anything else for an anchor. Maybe he backed himself up to a nut or something. But anyway - it was sketch as hell apparently, at least in parts.

Hope your trip's going well, Jeff. I'll get the porta-ledge to you somehow before you leave. Don't worry.

Re: Aquarian Wall: Solo

Sweet. This picture is when Peyton got to Timbuktu ledge. He was way way way behind in terms of water/hydration and was looking at finishing the route majorly dehydrated. But he found 5 gallons stashed on the ledge! He said he cashed 2 liters immediately without stopping, took a short break and then cashed 2 more! Super lucky.

Re: Another one for the Smashing crowd!

Thanks a lot Kelli!
